Roleplay Rules
1.) Misbehaving in class or anywhere in the school will result to detention, suspension, or expulsion depending on the crime.
2.) House points can be earned for participating in class, doing homework, signing up for classes, and doing things around the site.
3.) House points can be deducted for misconduct, and anything else a Prefect, Teacher or Head Of House deems worthy.
4.) There are certain password protected forums pm Me [Lily], or any other admin For the Passwords If you have not received the passwords that you need. The only common room passwords you'll receive is your own unless your staff.
5.) No magic in the corridors.
6.) Entrance to the Restricted Section of the Library is not permitted without a proper note for younger students. 16 and above may go in without a note.
7.) The Forbidden Forest is very dangerous, and is forbidden to all students at all times.
8.) If you have any further problems or concerns you may Pm any admin.
9.) Please role play your character in third person form. It is really annoying when you come across people who roleplay in first or in any other form.
Wrong way: I was walking by the lake.
Right way: Mary was walking by the lake.
10.) When your character is talking please use quotation marks so that the other characters could tell if you are speaking.
11.) No marriage will be allowed on this website unless you are an adult wizard. If you attend Hogwarts you cannot possibly get married you can get engaged but not married.
12.) Your character must be older then 17 to be able to apparate. Your character cannot possibly be able to apparate if he or she is a first year. Also apparition is not allowed on Hogwarts grounds it is allowed in the other places but not in Hogwarts your character will need to leave Hogwarts grounds before they will be able to apparate.
13.) Try to make your characters more realistic. Most Slytherins must hate Gryffindors and Most Gryffindors must hate Slytherins. If you read Harry Potter you never see any Slytherins and Gryffindors getting along There may be some exceptions but make sure to hate the majority of your rival house.
14.) Please remember that this is a roleplaying site please do not take it serious if someone's character casts a spell on your character. Your characters may hate each other but just because someone's character is cruel doesn't mean that they are really cruel.
15.) If you would like your character to be a werewolf, veela, vampire, animagus, metamorphagus, etc. you need to ask me for permission, before posting in the thread. To do so just send me an pm. Also please remember that this is strictly a Harry Potter site there will be no Elves (except house elves), Hobbits, etc. this is not LOTR.
16.) Your character cannot murder another character unless you have their full permission. You wouldn't want someone killing off your character because it would mean the end of that character on the site.
17.) Please keep in mind. If you are a first year your character can not possibly be 15 years old. Your character should also act their age.
First Years: 11-12 year old
Second Years: 12-13 years old
Third Years: 13-14 years old
Fourth Years: 14-15 years old
Fifth Years: 15-16 years old
Sixth Years: 16-17 years old
Seventh Years: 17-18 years old

General Rules:
1.) Posts MUST be in English, and English only. Most of the people on this site will be speaking English. If you have a character like Fluer who is French, and you post some French at least put what it means in English in Parenthesis.
2.) No more than 3 Characters. They can not be the same sex
[Gender]. You must have at least ONE male out of the characters you have.
3.) Proper Name: All characters MUST have a first and last name your character will not be approved unless it has both a first and last name. Middle names are optional. This is because we're trying our best to simulate Hogwarts and by have a name like Harrygirl3546 is not going to help that could be your user name to sign in but your display name must contain your character's full name.
4.) What Harry Potter movie is your favorite?
5.) No Spamming: Don't spam the board. Your posts must be at least a paragraph. A paragraph is 5-8 sentences.
6.) If your signature takes up a whole page I will have to remove because it is really annoying have to scroll through them it makes the page longer. If you have a bunch of signatures you would like to show then put them as a link.
7.) No Godmoding: You are not allowed to control other characters unless you cast the Imperious curse on then but not everyone is strong enough in magic to perform that spell. If your character DOES you have to ask the person who plays the character performing it on if you can.
8.) No having fights and arguments with Admins, Mods or other members, if someone disagrees with you, just accepted that, we can't always be right!
Or if you think someone might start up and argument about what your going to post, my advice to you would be don't post it!
9.) Don't PM Admins and Mods to become staff, if I see fit for you to become a staff member then I will tell you!
10.) Don't PM other members or post in the shout box to join your amazing site, its annoying and dumb if you ask me, you'd be better off posting it in the affiliates board!
11.) The real question is who is your favorite Character, AND why.
12.) Avatars must be 100x100 or smaller, if your image exceeds that then it will be removed
Signatures must not exceed 425 X200
13.) You need to stay active, especially if you are a canon character, I will email warnings to people if they haven't used their account in awhile and if you don't come back then well say bye- bye to your account, and i will know if you haven't used your account i will be having monthly activity checks.
14.) Never give out personal information, it could be your life your risking to complete strangers.
15.) If you wish to delete your account you must PM me first, so I know, and I can put that character back up for grabs, or if its an original character I can delete it off the Original character list.
16.) Color the answer to your question Purple.
17.) When posting your Application put their LAST name first in Capital letters. The first name in lower case letters then the middle name like this
Example: POTTER, Lily;Luna
